It's not what they would have you think...

I don’t usually post about things I haven’t researched myself, but I think this is something that everyone should be aware of. There is an organization called “Appeal for Redress” that is claiming to be “grassroots”, and that is how it has been reported in the media. However, it’s more like an “Astroturf” organization. Greyhawk over at Mudville Gazette has been on the case, and has a pretty complete history of this group, and their connections to professional PR people and an anti-war group in existence prior to even Afghanistan. Do yourself and favor and educate yourself. Don’t just take what you hear on the evening news or read in the print media at face-value.
